Making search targets available for specific profiles

Once you have set up your Discovery search targets, you must make them available to specific profiles if you want patrons to be able to search them. You can make each search target available to multiple search profiles. By default, once you make a search target available to a search profile, that search target is enabled for that search profile.

To make a search target available for specific profiles

1. Log in to the Admin console.
2. Choose Search Configuration from the navigation pane.
3. Choose Discovery Search Targets.
4. Choose the Configure Profile Availability option next to the Discovery search target that you want to make available to specific profiles.
5. Complete the fields, as necessary. For more information, see Fields: Assign Target to Profiles.
6. Choose OK to save your changes, or choose Cancel to discard your changes and return to Discovery Search Targets.
